Natural Hair Loss Remedies

Hair loss is a common problem that affects thousands of people today throughout the world.. It usually follows that when you start to lose your hair, you also start to become less confident in yourself. There are many reasons why people start to lose their hair, and there are several treatments available. The majority of these treatments are safe to use, and they won't cost you a fortune.

The first thing that you should do before trying out these treatments, is to get advice from your Doctor. He or she should be able to diagnose the problem so that you can get  the appropriate treatment.

Natural Remedies
There are several natural hair loss remedies out there, which are safe to use by everyone. However, you will need to find out which of these remedies will work for you.  Because these remedies are natural in their composition, there should not be any side-effects as with some traditional medicines. The good thing about these remedies is that you can prepare them yourself at home.

Massage
Massaging your scalp for a few minutes everyday will help to stimulate and increase the blood flow to your hair follicles. If this is carried out regularly, over a period of time. Then you should stop losing your hair, and it should start growing again.

For the more adventurous of you, there is Aromatherapy. These are natural remedies that can be used at home, and there is no fear of side effects. Below are some of the tried and tested remedies.

Essential Oils for Hair Loss:
Add 2 drops of the essential oil either to a good vegetable oil. Mix and using circular movements, massage it well into the scalp. Cover your hair in a plastic wrap then put a warm towel around it. Leave it for 2 to 3 hours, or overnight if possible. Shampoo the hair in the normal way, using a mild shampoo so that you don't damage the sebum balance.

Stimulating Circulation and Improving the Hair Health
Using bay and lavender oils can stimulate the scalp and help with hair health. Add six drops each of bay and lavender oil to four ounces of a warm almond, soybean or sesame oil. Massage the mixture into the scalp and allow it to absorb for 20 minutes. You can also add three drops of bay essential oil to the shampoo you regularly use.

Essential Oil Blend for Hair Growth
Thyme essential oil - 2 drops
Atlas cedarwood essential oil - 2 drops
Lavender essential oil -3 drops
Rosemary essential oil -3 drops
Jojoba oil - ½ teaspoon
Grapeseed oil - 4 teaspoons

Add the first four ingredients into a small glass jar. Mix well. Now add the remaining two ingredients. Mix thoroughly.

Massage this mixture into your scalp for at least two minutes every night. Wrap your head in a warm towel after treatment.

Hopefully, you'll have found something here to try out, and get a result!
